For years it has been standard practice to rent out an apartment and do business from there. This was all I knew for many years.
But as I was gearing up to find a new space for my business, I talked to several amazing women who were working out of an office building and I thought, well why not!?
And now I just love having an office and will never go back to apartment life!
Let me tell you why I love my office so much!
Ample parking- Never worry about looking for street parking. Never park in an apartment garage. Never park in front of a house. Parking is often the first point of anxiety for clients. They can have fear of being questioned if someone were to see them. “Why were you parked in front of that apartment building?” or “Why were you seen coming out of that house?” No one wants to face those questions. At my office, there is ample parking in the lot for all of the building guests.
Legitatmate Business- When you come to see me, you are coming to a legitate business, seeing a professional practioner. No worries about questions. You are entereing a professional building that is full of other healing businesses and you always feel like you are in the right place! You are coming for professional bodywork and everyone loves a man that practices self-care!
No shower- This is the one that can deter people and was something I worried about the most. But let me tell you, it is actually great not having a shower. When you book a 60 minute session with other women, they often use the shower as an excuse to have less time with you. They insist that you take a shower and then use that as billable time. And they love when you take a shower before and after a session. In that case you would have 10 minutes to shower before, 10 minutes after and at the most you would get 30 minutes of bodywork. In my practice, we have a brief check in and then I try to give you the most of the time you booked.
Washroom- I may not have a shower but I do have a beautiful washroom. This washroom is complete with everything you need to freshen up. Who needs a shower when you can use a handy shower wipe and be on your way?
Multiple rooms- My office is complete with multiple rooms which allows you to have a unique experience depending on your mood. Feeling like you want a luxurious, intimate and relaxed expereince? Let’s head into the Thai Mat room. Feeling like you want an exhilerating, erotic and unique exerpeince? Let’s head into Milking Table room. The choice is yours! *All first time sessions are held in the Thai Mat room. Existing clients can choose add-ons or milking table expereinces.
