Do you do outcalls?
No. Environment is very important to me. I spend a lot of energy and effort into creating a magically and welcoming space just for you. Remember, it is my job to bring you into my world and don’t worry, I will make you feel right at home.
What is your cancellation policy?
I request at least a 24 hour cancellation notice if, for any reason, you have to cancel our session. If you do not give proper notice, I require 50% of our agreed upon fee in the form of an Amazon gift card. The gift card number must be received within 24 hours of scheduled appointment to avoid being blacklisted.
Where is your location?
My studio is centrally located in Denver, Colorado.
Can I shower?
Yes. I have a fully stocked bathroom with everything you need to feel clean and refreshed.
Will you rush me?
No. I will never rush you, nor do I book back to back appointments. However, out of respect for my time, please shower before coming if possible. I also account for time before and after a session for consultation and wrap-up if you feel like processing. Again, with respect for my time, this will be a short conversation. If you require more time for processing you are welcomed to book a guidance session where we can properly examine how you are feeling.
Do you accept references?
No. I do not care who you have seen in the past. I do not care how many okay’s you have. I need to know who you are so that we may begin our professional relationship on a foundation of trust. Your name and contact info are always kept private but will be processed through the National Blacklist database for my personal safety.
I’m embarrassed by my ID photo. Will you judge me based on my picture?
Never. "The outside package is only important to those that have the inability to see deeper." I love bodies...all bodies! I love minds...even the crazy ones! However, I do not love all hearts and will be choosy with my clients based on this.
How does your pricing work?
Firstly, I have slightly reduced my rates. I do not want to be seen as an exciting experience that you treat yourself to every once and awhile. Instead I would love to become part of your regular self-care routine. Also, deep healing work takes time and repetition. So I hope that you come back as often as you can! Also, I have a flat rate now for our time together. I don’t want you to choose what session to book based on price, so hopefully this makes things easier.
Do you see lots of clients?
No. I am a low volume, high demand provider allowing me to be very selective with whom I work with. I am a very energetically tuned person so it is important that my clientele is of pure heart and intentions. I enjoy working with people that are respectful of women, treating them like the goddesses they are. I am an educated woman with much to offer and without a shortage of clientele. If our energy vibes, yipee!! If not, no worries. There are lot’s of providers out there and I am always happy to offer referrals.
I am worried about privacy issues. Is my information safe?
Privacy and discretion are of the utmost importance to me. I never share client information and purge all of my files on a monthly basis. You can rest assured that I am trustworthy and understanding of your desire for discretion.
Do you take credit card?
Yes. I can take major credit cards with a fee of 3.5% that will be added to your total. The business name reflected on your credit card statement will show up as 'Studio Raven Consulting.'
Is tipping allowed?
Yes. Tipping is allowed, appreciated but NEVER expected. If you have the means and desire, great! But if not, save your funds for more sessions with me!
Can I buy you a gift?
No. As sweet as gifts are, I would rather keep our exchange professional and focused. Again, I would rather you use what would have gone to a gift, into more sessions for yourself. That is the best gift for me!
What are your hours?
Limited slots are available for bookings between the hours of 11am-6pm Monday-Saturday. I can occasionally arrange evening or weekend appointments with already established clients.
How far in advance can I book with you?
You can book up to two weeks in advance.
I have seen you in the past. Can I book a session from your old list of services?
No. Thank you for being such a loyal client but please understand that I am constantly growing and changing. What makes me good at what I do is that I have a true passion for my work. What I am offering now is what sings to me. It is what I am passionate about now and you will feel it through my work. Asking me to do something I am no longer passionate about really wouldn’t be fun for anyone.
What if I have a specific request?
My website is very detailed, which should give you a good idea of what to expect and what I offer. But I am happy to explore any specific desires that you may have. However, it is always good to ask before booking.
Are you cannabis friendly?
Yes. If you are a client in a state where cannabis is legal, I am totally cool with your consumption. I will not partake but I know that cannabis can greatly enhance your experience. However, if you do plan on consuming, you MUST arrange for a ride via Uber, Lyft or other.
I have never done this before. Is it okay to be nervous?
Yes! It is perfectly naturally to feel nervous before your session. Let your excitement build up but please do not feel fear. You are completely safe in my presence. You do not have to impress me. You do not have to be anything that you are not. Nothing is ever expected of you. And trust me, I have seen it all! Come as you are and let me do the rest. It is my main focus to put you at ease and make you feel comfortable. And if at any point you do not feel comfortable, remember you are the one in control and can leave at any time.
How do I prepare for a bodywork session?
Please come properly groomed and freshly showered (I do have a shower if you do not have time),
Do not drink a lot of liquids before your sessions
It is not recommended to eat a heavy meal within 1-2 hours of your session
Is this legal?
I am ordained as a Minister and hold a Physio/Spiritual Massage Certificate which allows me to administer counseling techniques, spiritual advising, and laying on of hands legally under the 1st Amendment.
Any exchange for services is simply for time, coaching and practices based on my rituals as an ordained minister. Nothing else is ever offered nor implied. Anything that may or may not occur is a matter of personal choice and personal preferences between two or more consenting adults of legal age and is not contracted for, nor is it requested to be contracted for in any manner. This is not an offer of prostitution and no fees will ever be accepted for illegal activity. I reserve the right to decline appointments, as I deem necessary.
Do your services replace counseling or traditional massage therapy?
No. I am not a licensed health care provider, counselor, or therapist and do not engage in patient diagnosis or the practice of medicine. By acknowledging this you agree that all guidance, both on this website and during one-on-one sessions is given in good faith and without prejudice. My services do not replace the care of psychologists or other healthcare professionals. My guided sessions in no way are to be construed or substituted as psychological counseling or any other type of therapy or medical advice. I exercise my best professional efforts, skills and can refer you to a medical professional. Although, I cannot guarantee the outcome of my guidance efforts and/or recommendations on my website. I can, however, guarantee that I will do everything in my power to help guide you through whatever storm you are weathering.
Do you offer FS?
No. Please do not ask.
Do you offer mutual touch?
A role that is important to master is the role of receiver. I will guide you to places that you are free to explore but beyond that this time is purely for you and I ask that you stay in the role of receiver.
Do all sessions utilize a blindfold and headphones?
Yes. With years of experimentation with clients I have found that the addition of sensory deprivation is truly what makes for a magical experience. It is something that clients often fight at first but once they have experienced a sensory deprivation session they never want to go back to the traditional FBSM sessions.
Do you tour? When will you be in my city?
No. I usually move every 6-12 months and will be in a new city shortly but never for touring. Please stay tuned to where I might be next and send me a suggestion if you think I might like your city!
